That's cool that Buxton is up to hitting .258 on the season after such a bad start. If he keeps this up next year across a full season, he could hit around .310 with 25 homers and 40 steals which would be great. Plus his defense is obviously elite.
It's definitely been fun how everyone has done their part. There isn't an easy out anywhere in the lineup. It's also got great balance because every starter has an OBP above .310 except for Polanco and every starter a SLG above .400 except for Grossman and Castro.
Yeah, I phrased that wrong. I meant that Stewart is a good prospect but I wouldn't mind giving him up in this trade assuming another prospect comes back. He'd be bad to give up 1 for 1 and it would be selling low.
The tweet said a good prospect and Kohl Stewart would suck to lose but not too bad. Sounds rough, but I still like the idea of a solid #3 rental. Won't cost an elite prospect and gives a nice little boost. My money's on Lamonte Wade.
