    The project is open to all players who played at any level with the Minnesota Twins. That way if someone is friends with or related to a Twins minor leaguer - past or present - they can create a page for that player.

    The biggest upside to cutting the cord is fluidity of services. You can cancel Fubo in two minutes and move to YouTube TV. No contracts, no obligations, just month-to-month service.

    If I'm concerned about Woods Richardson at the very end of a rotation, I'm probably feeling pretty good about my rotation. Now he IS walking a bit of a tightrope as evidenced by his roughly 4-ish xERA and xFIP. But I'm also okay with a 4-ish ERA from his spot in the rotation, particularly in his rookie year. If the velocity holds and his command of his arsenal continues, I'm not particularly concerned. I don't think he'll be much more than a good #4 pitcher but hey, every team needs those, too.

    Visually, the Apple TV+ broadcasts are awesome. Typically Apple in that regard; they're masters of presentation. Their camera angles are great, the broadcasts focus on the game instead of scorebugs and tickers everywhere, etc. A lot of the rest of the broadcast like the announcers, *very* flawed odds displayed, etc? I can do without all of that.

    Sites are a mess this morning, cannot upload images or embed anything like tweets AND we're getting hammered with DDOS attacks. A perfect weekend, in other words. At least posting text comments still works fine.

    Apple TV+ is actually really awesome, almost all of their content is very good. What sucks is that MLB agreed to let them have blackouts on Friday nights.

    We've changed the format a bit and I want you all to be aware of it. The game threads are essentially jump balls now. If you want to create a game thread, pop in between midnight the night before and 7am-ish the morning of the game. If there's no thread, create one. I usually check into the site around 7:30am and if there is no game thread, I'll create one between 7:30-9am. The same applies to squirrel and wsnydes, who create one in the morning if they don't see one already in place. So if you want to hot take a game thread, you're free to do so on any game day. We've done away with schedules and whatnot, it's just far too much of a hassle.

    Yeah, both of these entities will suffer from this standoff but Comcast has much more power. Diamond is already battling bankruptcy and Comcast just has to wait them out. Either Diamond goes belly up or are forced to accept a "sports tier" bundling package for less money (and still probably go belly up), either way Comcast wins.
