Nice to see Rosario have a real nice game as well, seems like he was scuffling a bit lately, 3 doubles will certainly help turn things around.

 

How many HR could one expect out of a 3-4-5 lineup next year of Sano, Dozier and Plouffe? 100?

I'd be happy with 80.

So Mrs Chief and I were cleaning out the bedroom last night, and I found a box under some clothes in the back of the closet.  Inside were a couple eggs and over $300 in cash.

 

"Sweet," I thought.  I asked Mrs Chief what the deal was, and she looked at me sadly and said "Every time I've cheated on you through the years, I've put an egg in the box."

No, I think the Astros make the playoffs no matter what happens. With the acquisition of Kazmir, I think they're essentially a lock for a WC berth (I don't see anyone passing the Angels).

 

It'd be nice to pass Houston but I think they're in the playoffs no matter what happens with the Twins. They're a good team that just got better.

I think Kazmir is awesome, but he is always a ticking time bomb, and one pitcher like him probably adds only 2 wins tops the rest of the year for them. The Twins, even as streaky as they have been, have been outplaying (winning) more than the Astros the past several weeks (month)
