Meyer starts, Stewart relieves. The future of the Twins rotation in one game.

 

Meyer--1.2 IP, 3H, 1 BB, 1 ER, 5 K

Stewart--2 IP, 0 H, 1 BB, 0 ER, 2K

 

All in all not terrible. I'm hoping Meyer wasn't going 100% and wasn't using breaking stuff, explaining the hits. Getting all his outs by way of the kay is pretty good though.

Some speculated in the Aug9 thread that Meyer was only throwing fastballs. Not a bad way to work him back in.
