No Kurtz, Rooker or Gelof plus a struggling pitcher the day after a long, victorious battle on the road. Pedal to the metal. Don't fall for the trap.

Hopefully we don't make the struggling pitcher look like a Cy Young candidate. Ah, we'll be good, I'm going to be positive.

I was wondering if Lopez was adversely affected by pitching his home games in a bandbox, and he has been a bit more effective on the road, but he's been hit hard both at home and on the road. He has a 4-1 record in his road starts with 5.88 ERA, 42 hits in 33.1 innings .309 BAA and .881 OPS against.

It is time for the slumping hitters to wake up. The bullpen has been used heavily since the break, so give Zebby about eight runs and let him go 7 or 8. The Twins are big favorites for all three games, but this could be a trap. They have to want to win every bit as much as they did for the last two games versus the Guardians.

Culpepper is back for the Saints tonight. Arcia was released.

Surprised about Arcia, guess Culpeper is a long term plan for St Paul

Yep, Culpepper and Jenkins will stay down. Gonzalez or Rodriguez could come up because already on the 40 man. So if lockout occurs Jenkins and Culpepper can continue to work with coaches in the offseason.

Would be nice to hear something about Rodriguez not being out all season.

Zebby needs to shape up with two strikes, no matter who the opponent is.

It was reported earlier this week that he was starting to do baseball activity.  So I don't think he is out for the season, but I didn't hear a timeline.

What was your favorite Arcia moment.

The go ahead home run that was promptly undone by the bullpen

Nostradamus in the house.

I am not the only one who thinks this. You know no more than I do.

I won't be able to watch the game today, but it important for the Twins to jump on Lopez right away and not let off the gas. I know all game are technically equally important, but it is vital that the Twins can take care of business vs. Oakland and Kansas City heading into the trade deadline. I am not thriled with having Larnach and Clemens off today. I also would like to see the Twins give Roden some more consistent playing time so they can see what they have with him. If he doesn't work out, they can use the spot on Jenkins. Go Twins!

4 wins out of 6 is a necessity.
