I know this has been a topic for two years now, but after another bad start from Simeon Woods Richardson, you have to wonder why he's still in the rotation for the Minnesota Twins. At this point, I don't know if long relief would be an option for a guy who is having a historically bad year. Do we just put him in the bullpen in a long relief role? Or every fifth day, the Twins could go to a bullpen day, where he pitches 1-3 innings and have a guy like Andrew Morris, and a possible call-up in Travis Adams that could come up for long relief roles? I don't know, guys, but after yesterday, I am really lost as to how this guy has gotten so bad. What are your guys' thoughts on all of this? Check out some of his stats below.

These stats are based on 77 qualified pitchers according to FanGraphs

K% 10.6 Ranked 77th

FIP 6.22 Ranked 77th

ERA 6.92 Ranked 76th

Loses 5 Ranked T-76th

WAR -0.3 Ranked T-76th

BABIP .321 Ranked 64th

wOBA .411 Ranked 70th

The Twins have options rather than running him out there every five days. I would think his days are numbered, sad but true.
