stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 The four-game sweep by the Yankees has pretty much washed out all hope for contention by all but the most optimistic fans. Since they've already lost five in a row, they are on the road for the next ten games and they play three teams against whom they've had trouble, I am looking at a substantial losing streak occuring before the All-Star break. What is the opinion of TD? I'm thinking 10 or more.
JB_Iowa Verified Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 I suspect they will sneak in and steal a game or two on the road in the next 10 days but I don't look for them to win more than 7 or 8 altogether in July (and that may be optimistic). But I also wouldn't be shocked if they didn't win again until after the All-Star break. The schedule is pretty brutal.
Riverbrian Old-Timey Member Posted July 5, 2013 Posted July 5, 2013 It depends on if they've had enough!!!
beckmt Verified Member Posted July 6, 2013 Posted July 6, 2013 Doubt we will see more than 1 win on this road trip. Time to move some of the veterans, all should be listened, any who will not be here 2-3 years from now should be moved if possible. That does not mean to give them away in salary dumps.
