pioneers3 Provisional Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Kepler with number 3. He has such a great swing with great bat speed. Kid is going to be really good. Twins farm system is loaded with talent. For your sake I hope they don't pull a "Brewer" and trade good prospects for a 2 year window.
stringer bell Verified Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Future OF of Kepler, Buxton, Arcia? Maybe there's a reason why the Twins aren't concerned whether the have Hicks after six years.

pioneers3 Provisional Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Hey, Hicks can always make a good 4th OF... Twins could have an interesting problem on their hands if Walker keeps on developing. The guy has 7 future power.
Ncgo4 Verified Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Some very interesting problems (LOL) developing. Twins have many prospects who are developing faster and better than expected. We need to avoid the temptation of trading some of these prior to establishing just how much potential each has. Could be a real challenge as some minor league teams get over staffed in a few positions. If we end up with ten All Star center fielders it's going to be hard to play them on three or four minor league teams. Not the worst problem in the world!
diehardtwinsfan Old-Timey Member Posted July 2, 2013 Posted July 2, 2013 Hey, Hicks can always make a good 4th OF... I would hope that if the Twins are looking at a Buxton/Kepler/Arcia OF that Hicks is traded for something of value. If he becomes a 4th OF, then he was unfortunately a very failed prospect. 4th OFs are pretty easy to find, and Hicks (if he blossoms) will be far more valuable in a trade if Kepler is going to supplant him than he would as a 4th OF.
