JBK Verified Member Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 2024 Twins MVP Willi Castro is projected to make around $6.2M in arbitration. That's a steal when you look at their lineup. We have "superstars" who can't stay on the field. He fills in for all of them. Willi is worth every dollar. Worry about how you can keep players on the field. Willi has proven you don’t have to worry about him.
T.O. Verified Member Posted November 17, 2024 Posted November 17, 2024 They are paying Vasquez $10,000,000 to be a part time catcher that can't hit much. If they trade Castro it's clear they are trying to strip payroll to make it easier to sell the team and could care less about winning. Maybe my memory isn't good but other than Lopez I can't think of any recent trades that have gone well for the Twins.

Joe Ryan, Jake Odorizzi, Jhoan Duran, Sergio Romo were all acquired via trade Squirrel 1
