Canned after the season, he Watkins should be canned today. He has zero instincts or ability to read outfielders and when to send runners. Watkins is awful and it is not a dispute. If we fans can see his gaffes and bad decisions, should be evident to front office. Watkins poor decision making is affecting games.

I know that refrain from every year he has coached 3rd. I think ownership is making a plaster cast of him.

One of the stats I key in on this part of the season is W/L record against teams w/record >.500. Twins are .435. In now slumping against teams below .500, Twins are working out of their way out of WC; will get mired into 3rd or 4th against streaking (7-3) Tigers.

Sorry for the ignorant question, but why was Austin sent to third on the "Jimenez catch" play? Why wasn't he out at home?
