Point being, these last two weeks have handed the team some terrible losses in multiple games that should have gone in the W column. It has to be backbreaking and a morale drain. I thought the first of those--watching Alcala turn a 4-0 seventh inning lead in Texas last Sunday into a 4-5 deficit,  while Rocco picked his nose in the dugout--had potential to change the season.

Because the switch hitting slugger Santana needs to be in the lineup everyday since obviously he has a favorable matchup every time he comes to the plate.
