GusGus11 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 Correa is unbelievable. But never held accountable. Hes batting 4th. 0/3 all with men on base. 2 with RISP. 2 Ks. The numbers say hes awful with men on. Then we let him do absolute nonsense like that on defense to hand Cleveland a run Jocko87 1

You know whats worse?? Eating 20 mil and letting a guy objectively make your team worse. We will have to do something. We are not gonna go Jeffers and Vazquez for two more years. Just have every single minor league catcher sit on freeze for 2 years of a guy who cant hit, catch or call a good game???? An article in zone coverage contradicts your statement regarding Jeffers over Vasquez as far as just catching goes. Dated Aug 10 so it's fairly recent. The stats say opponents score 1.3 runs less with Vasquez behind the plate vs Jeffers SD happy 1

Its gotten worse since then.

First, who's to say the other Cleveland runner wouldn't have scored in that half inning in that circumstance. Second, if Pagan makes a good pitch there, it wouldn't have mattered who was on second. GusGus11 Verified Member Posted August 30, 2023 Posted August 30, 2023 STOP BATTING HIM 3rd/4th Like my god. The stats are out there. Hes borderline unplayable with men on base. Stop giving Correa prime spots. If its broke, fix it. He can play. Just play him 6th or 7th. The Astros won world series doing it. Tlaker and IndyTwinsFan 2
