If Johnson doesn't play baseball, the Twins would have likely gone with someone else in the top 5 of that draft. It's kind of unfair to cherry pick a guy that they Twins would not have been looking at for that position.

None of this is fair 13 years later and with the benefit of hindsight. It's more fun than saying, Johnson was gone, so the Twins took Justin Wayne, the next highest drafted RHP that yeah and he also didn't reach the Majors.
