23-4 is just unheard of in baseball. So impressed with the Miracle! They'll be weaker without AJ, though, but it's good news.

Hell yeah for AJ! He is a great asset, even without the very good performance this year so far. I have to wonder if this is not in a vacuum and that Beresford, perhaps, is moving up to Rochester pronto?

 

That Vargas is now hitting like this is more fuel for the promotion fire after the June draft.

 

Until then, I have to think that something has to be done about Jorge Polanco DHing as much as he has. He has played second 15 times, short 2 times, and DH-ed 7 times. Candido Pimentel is getting plenty of time at second (10 games) and has DH-ed only 4 times. Polanco needs time in the MI instead of as a DH.

good to see Vargas hot. I would love it if one of Vargas or Walker turned into a 25+ HR bat to put after guys like Buxton/Rosario/Mauer/Sano/Arcia.
