What the **** is going on with Gray?

I think this will be the 5th out of his last 6 starts where he’s gone 5 or less

Well, today he got hit on the pitching arm or the ribs at 100+mph...... and kept pitching. I'm sure that his body wasn't optimum after that, and it showed.

And, definitely not the same since return from IL.

This manager is so so clueless, but cheap, so front office thinks he will work out.

FO should be overhauled, too.  Scouting Department suxs!

Gray do not want Twins to play playoffs.  He wants to go home when the season is over.

Yeah. That's prolly it.

5 LOB thru 3 and 1 thrown own at home....just another day in Twinky Town.

I know, and after 61 years you would think I could get off this pipe….just can’t.

Win Twins!!!

Nobody will ever convince me RBI aren't the most important thing you can do as a hitter.

Joe Mauer will try.

Stay on that pipe. It helps.

Everyone should post their starting rotation for the first round of playoffs. This should be good.

But someone yesterday said we’re among the best in the league at getting runners in from third with less than two outs. So shut it ?

That was me. And they are. I'm sorry actually looking at the mathematical success rates of every team in the league and then comparing the Twins to those teams isn't an acceptable way to show they're 5th in the league in achieving a goal that is easily quantified. Your brilliant baseball mind must be better than the math. My bad.

Here's a link to that awful, no good, terrible math that absolutely can't be right. But I'll save you the time of actually looking up stats and just tell you the Twins are at 56.5% success rate with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs scoring. League average is 51.1%. There are 4 teams currently with a rate higher than 56.5%. But don't let my facts get in the way of you complaining about things you're wrong about.

Bad enough that Gray imploded.

But I hate letting Johnny Effing Queto beat us. He's got nothing. One terrible AB after another. A good team should shell him every time.

Didn’t say you were wrong, just laughed that you picked such a wildly specific stat as your only thing the twins do better than the average team. I was hoping for something more general.

I can give you a whole slew of stats, both specific and general, that the Twins are better than the average team in, but you'd still complain and tell us how terrible they are so I just went with the one I happened to be looking at at the time.

Jim Kaat

Jim Perry

Frankie Sweet Music Viola

Bert warming in the pen

3-0 moving on to the next round

Meant to add Mudcat in the mix as well!

ok, where do they rank with all RISP stats? Where do they rank with bases loaded? Where do they rank with RISP and 2 outs? Looks like we’re 4th from the bottom in the productive out stat. Nobody out and a runner at 2nd, we’re third from the bottom in advancing the runner.

Im old timer /?   is there a stat that has left at 3b with 0-1  outs ?

Yes. The Twins strand a runner at 3B after he was there with less than 2 outs 43.5% of the time. That is 5th lowest in baseball. It's a stat that does a great job of showing how frustrating baseball can be on a game to game basis.

In all seriousness, you can tell me anything you want based off that chart and I'm forced to believe you.

I've stared at it for 30 minutes and have no ******* idea what it claims to show.
