Starting shortstop, for example. We might have an opening. yeah, dunno if that would be his job ... I'll reserve judgement after seeing him man the position a bit, but he is not rated very highly as a defender and you need that more than a bat in that position

Now, the infield sinking in the center... Are you serious? How about on his follow through, he falls towards first base. Is that accurate enough for you
wabene Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 A big part of Polanco's greatness is being a switch hitter who's big power stroke is from the left side. Plenty of right-handed pitchers to terrorize!
wabene Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 A shortstop who hits dingers? I'm in
wabene Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Give Gordon a $50,000.00 gift card to Five Guys. Problem solved
RickOShea Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Sano out for the season, after getting his foot stepped on?
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 11, 2021 Posted September 11, 2021 Merrifield could have avoided spiking Sano on that. Shades of AJ Pierzynski spiking Mientkiewicz. Or was it Cuddyer.

Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 I've said this before and I'll say it again regarding replays. The official deciding the replay should not know the call on the field. The official would rule safe, out, or inconclusive. Only if the ruling is inconclusive would the call on the field stand.
Nine of twelve Verified Member Posted September 12, 2021 Posted September 12, 2021 Can't these guys hit anything other than home runs?
