Per the Twins beat writers, Twins All Star shortstop Jorge Polanco had ankle surgery last week. He'll be away from baseball activities for 6 weeks and should be ready to go for spring training.

Very refreshing to know he had the surgery already and this didn't come out in say late Feb.  Heal up quickly Jorge!
