Game Thread: Twins vs. White Sox 4:40 PM PST (6:40PM CST)

[stringer bell]

One in, get some more.

[insagt1]

still no hits but at least one productive out gets us a run.

[Don Walcott]

Jorge!!

[70charger]

Woo! Cruz!

[Don Walcott]

Boom Stick!!

[mrtwinsfan]

Cruz

[70charger]

Nelson Cruz with the smallball. Love it.

[FlauerPauer]

Nelson!

[insagt1]

yes! thats it at last. Nice single by Cruz ties it up. Good!

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Hip hip!

Jorge!

[mrtwinsfan]

Oh Edward, you missed a hanger

[insagt1]

Eddie leaves two on with a 'k'.

[FlauerPauer]

Looked like Eddie was pressing to make something happen instead of being patient and working the count like he did in his first at bat. If he has more consistent at bats, he'd be such a better player.

[David HK]

Just tuned in.

It'll be interesting to see who's on the mound the next couple of innings:

Berrios, or Bury-us.

[stringer bell]

Good play by Arraez. Gotta know who is running to first base.

[stringer bell]

OK fellas, 13 hitters, only six outs. I would think Lopez' luck can't continue.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Once more into the batter's box...

[mrtwinsfan]

Again - no patience

The bear yo's?

[insagt1]

6 hits, all singles...there's a space oddity! Cave with his 2nd bad AB. Sometimes the stars just don't align for certain hitters.

[stringer bell]

And...a double play and weak grounder and we're done in the third.

[ScrapTheNickname]

White Sox commentators both agree that Berrios should start the first playoff game rather than Odorizzi. Based on his recent history I don't know.

[mrtwinsfan]

Mcann owns Jose

Berrios has the potential for 7-8 innings- dont think i can say that for Jake

[Richie the Rally Goat]

Mcann owns Jose

nice anti-jinx

[70charger]

Every year, the waterfall in your pool has frozen at least once!? The horror!

[John Kelsey]

Mcann owns Jose

That was some strange proof of ownership.

The Soltero Squad somehow doesn't have the same ring to it.

[stringer bell]

Good 3rd and 4th for Berríos.

[mrtwinsfan]

Good to see Marvin back, unless were playing against a lefty,  I see no need for Cron, it will hurt speed wise but ?
