Game Thread: Twins vs. White Sox 4:40 PM PST (6:40PM CST)

[Aggies7]

This is why you don’t mail in a single game, Roc.

[insagt1]

Twins back in home field form with a lousy start. Chisox with runs in both innings while Twins leave bases loaded. in the 1st. They just cannot take Chicago lightly and Berrios needs a solid game. So far....no.

Kepler and Cron sitting this one out. Marwin back.

Seems like sometimes he's watching a different game.

I started an ageist text in response, but then I looked it up. Dick is only 63. He’s been the tv voice of the Twins since ‘83. He was 27 when he started.

No doubt he's earned his keep, but honestly I can't even listen to him anymore. 9 times out of 10 I'll put on the radio guys. Gotta love that feature in mlb.tv.

If you had that job would you quit?

That said, I have a voice for the silent pictures, so...

Would be nice to see Twins pick up these runners on base with nice conventional hits. Cave's AB was simply a weak routine flyout.Let's not play from behind all game tonite.

[stringer bell]

No worries yet. Let's get some runs from the bottom of the order.

[mrtwinsfan]

Would like to see the radio crew and the t.v. guys SWITCH and they can keep gladden on radio

[Blake]

I'm in MN and I'm used to watching these games, not following on gameday,

[mrtwinsfan]

I love Provus!

[70charger]

Please don't load the bases. I can't take it anymore.

[FlauerPauer]

Welcome back, Marwin!

[insagt1]

OK--so here we go again. Two on, none out....they have to make something out of this.

[stringer bell]

Leadoff man on for the second straight inning. And Marwin with a sharp single!

[mrtwinsfan]

Get em over Wade

[FlauerPauer]

I love Provus!

Oh yeah. Provus is great! Really knowledgeable and makes insightful comments.

[mrtwinsfan]

Hurry back MAX

[stringer bell]

Non-productive out for Wade Jr.

[70charger]

Well. Okay.

[Halsey Hall]

We will need all we can get with Jose throwing tonight.  Crooked number here would be good.

[John Kelsey]

That's something at least.

[FlauerPauer]

Hip hip!

I think Jose settles in and shuts them down the next 4-5 innings. Stuff looks pretty good.
