Article: Could the Twins Be the New 2015 Royals?

The 2015 Royals had a very good bullpen and mediocre everything else. If anything, this year's Twins team is the opposite of that.

 

And don't forget -- the Royals were good for three years. The 2015 team did not come out of nowhere. Wade Davis was unhittable, and was used a lot, in both years the Royals made it to the WS.

 

The Royals may have started the "power bullpen" era which other teams have since rode to success, but I think this era is ending.

 

Believe it or not, our pen hasn't been that bad. We're currently 8th in WAR and 15th in ERA... It's certainly not as bad as I thought it would be, and it could use an upgrade, but it's been getting the job done....  

 

would definitely like an elite reliever or two though.
