My rankings of MLB uniforms

Here is my first ever ranking of the MLB jerseys/color/logo schemes. I'm sure this list will be ripped to shreds by others, but hey, this is just one man's personal preference.  

 

1. Athletics - only team to prominently feature green or yellow, plus cool alternate logo
2. Cardinals - festive, timeless jerseys with bats and birds
3. Braves - much like Cardinals, like the tomahawk
4. Mariners - need way more teal, but always a fan of the color scheme
5. Mets - the bright blue and orange really pop to me
6. Cubs - good classic circular logo
7. Rockies - only team to prominently feature purple
8. Dodgers - timeless script
9. White Sox - effective use of colorless scheme
10. Yankees - would be much lower if they were less historic
11. Rays - the blues with burst of yellow is favorable
12. Blue Jays - like the newish throwbacks with the lined font
13. Orioles - lots of orange
14. Marlins - new unis and logo a huge improvement
15. Giants - great for Halloween
16. Diamondbacks - most innovative, original
17. Royals - a fine, clean look
18. Pirates - let's see more yellow
19. Angels - the red alternates with red numbers bump them up a bit
20. Twins - the gold accents bump them up a peg
21. Red Sox - fairly dull except that it's a classic
22. Brewers - due for a refresh, but nice alternate throwbacks
23. Nationals - unexciting, but the W font is kinda interesting
24. Phillies - is that maroon or red? can never quite gauge it
25. Tigers - would be last, but some points for timelessness
26. Rangers - in need of a big refresh
27. Reds - totally unmemorable
28. Indians - I really think they should keep the name but make it about India, the country
29. Astros - really dislike the block lettering; so much potential wasted
30. Padres - I know, their alternates are cool, but I just despise their navy-white home unis... come on, add an accent color!

Also, home unis? There is so much difference between what they wear on the road versus at home. And, there are variations even within that.

I was mostly thinking about the uniform set as a whole, which incorporates colors, logos, lettering, etc.

I would never, ever rank the Athletics number 1. I guess there's no accounting for some people's tastes. (This was posted with the knowledge that that statement goes both directions.)

Phillies: their color has always intrigued me. It registers with me as a purple-ish orange. I know there's no such thing but that's what I see.

Are you by chance a Packer fan? That's the only way I can understand the A's at the top.
