stringer bell Verified Member Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 If the Twins want to see what they have in Hicks, they can 60-day DL Span. Capps has been out almost 60 days as well, although I'm sure he will want to pitch if able (pending FA). I really think both Slama and Vasquez should get a look, along with Hughes. It doesn't look like the Rock Cats will make the playoffs, so Hicks could be here on Tuesday.
Rosterman Verified Member Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Caleb, or anyone playing Arizona ball won't be added or called up, they would have to leave early. Walters and Pavano and Baker are on the 60-day. Capps and Span are on the 15-day. Before moving anyone else to the 60-day, they would have to fill the last two spots. I want to see Slama and Vasquez get a shot and some work. I would also like to see Guerra get a few innings. Perdomo and Manship might as well make the trip up, too. I would not activate Walters. We will have an influx of infielders if Escobar and Dozier are called up, but both should. Arcia should also get the call...just to soak in the moment. Give him this!
stringer bell Verified Member Posted September 3, 2012 Posted September 3, 2012 Well, Vasquez and Walters are here and we've seen Vasquez (so-so at best). I haven't heard who is to be called up, but we should know soon. If the Rock Cats don't make the playoffs, the recalls should be complete tonight.
