Dodger Stadium - Best Seats?

Hey gang, going to be going out to LA to see the Twins play the Dodgers on 7/24. Has anyone ever been there before? What are the best seats, "bang for the buck"-wise?

It does sell out, so make sure you buy your tickets days in advance. Don't get to high up, because unlike Target Field as it goes up it also goes back futher.

Been there twice. Once in the 2nd deck with family. View was okay. Other time was in the lower bowl on a date. View was good when I was paying attention to the game. Should of got upper deck tickets that game though

 

Stadium is kind of blah but that's my opinion.

My former place in LA was about a 10 minute motorcycle ride away.  Went there many times, and sat in lots of different places. Saw the first series the Twinks played there (since '65), and went to most Cubs games, too. Giants games, of course, were nuts- wouldn't sit in the rowdy outfield on those occasions- downright dangerous.

 

If you care mostly about seeing the game, pretty much anywhere in the sane part of the lower bowl is good viewing- wouldn't go too far beyond mid-outfield depth, tho, Upper deck is totally fine, too, as long as you're not too high up- as a previous poster mentioned.

 

But, if it's your first time, and you want to get the experience, it doesn't matter-  Get your seat, then walk around, get up to that second deck, and enjoy the views of downtown and the San Gabriels.  But you MUST get a Dodger Dog and the GARLIC FRIES.  Branch, out, get some sushi, or a Base-Bowl, Hawaiian stuff in left field, or Tommy Lasorda's for Italian stuff in right-- I could go on, but there's dang good grub there, wherever you turn.  Oh, I almost forgot the Carne Asada fries, too... yummm.

 

Ballpark food being $$$, you can also make a stop down the hill at Philippe's for a French dip- they claim to have invented it like, 100 years ago.  Iconic LA, plus it's practically in the heart of Chinatown, and just up from Olvera street and Little Tokyo, so you can wander among a ton of cultural diversity before (or after) the game.

 

LA and Dodger Stadium and traffic being what it is, nobody gets there til the 3rd inning, and everybody leaves by the 6th, to beat the parking lot morass, so my usual MO was to sit in a really good seat, til the rightful owner came, go to my own seat for the middle innings, then find another cool spot for the end!

And don't wear any Giants gear, so you won't get shot or stabbed.

Dodgers Stadium had a good concourse. I buy a cheap seat and stand around. Views are great.

 

Getting there, I don't like to pay for parking, so I'll park my car in echo park, stop in at the Shortstop or Little Joy for a pregame beer, then a two minute uber ride drops you right at the gate.

 

I'll be there for the game on Wednesday.

 

Also, Dodger dogs are the real deal.
