Reminder -- this is not necessarily what I'd do, but what I think the Twins may do.

Yeah, they might make the mistake of Duffey over Mejia, but I hope that they have seen enough of Tonkin.  They have been praising Wimmers a lot lately, so I think that he is ahead of Tonkin as far as depth goes.

 

The way you have it they just need one spot back - for Park - and that would mean moving Perkins to the 60-day DL.  If Wimmers makes it over Tonkin, he gets his spot.

We have had a lot of disappointments - Berrios adjustment, Tonkin adjustment, Duffey developing a third pitch (adjustment), Chargois adjustment - so where are the coaches that are coaching, helping the players adjust?  Talent needs nurturing and development.  I believe that is the role of the numerous coaches. 

 

Without that positive adjusting I would let Tonkin move on, I would let Mejia and Duffey rotate long relief and starting and hope that we get some trades and action that will let Berrios move into the rotation again.
