I do think with Mike Trout it is almost the Michael Jordan thing where he should have won the MVP every year, but writers were looking for an excuse not to vote for MJ.  The excuse the writers will have is that the Angels went 74-88 so how valuable is he really?  If I had a vote I would vote for Trout, but I think his chances of winning are very slim just my 2 cents worth

Well some things we know.  

 

We know Ortiz won't win MVP or finish top 3 like some thought he might.  That's a very good thing.

 

We know Noah Syndergaard also won't finish top 3 in the NL Cy Young award (for reasons passing understanding).

 

We know Sale won't finish top 3 in AL Cy Young either.
