Interesting, had never heard that before.  Sadly, I don't know if this story will catch on as it doesn't reflect the views many have nowadays of U.S. history which apparently resembled a Quentin Tarantino movie.

It does call into question the veracity of some of Ken Burns' level of historical scholarship.
