Nick Gordon with a walkoff pinch hit for CR

The Kernels' Nick Gordon was getting the night off Thursday until, with 2 outs in the bottom of the 9th vs Dayton, he was called on to pinch hit with 2 outs and Zack Larson representing the potential winning run on 3rd base.

Always fun to see video of these guys... Gordon hasn't done a lot of pinch hitting. Obviously normally he starts, and when he does get a day off, they like to let him just watch.

No player should really get a day off. They should be available to do something if needed to change the game.
