Game Thread: Twins @ Reds, 6/30, 6:10 PM CDT

[Gibby]

Have a safe trip Gibby. The game threads (after tonight) won't be the same without you.

Sometimes I can get on over there, but when I try to post it hangs.

Turkey Greece Hungary

That entire region is food related.

Hughes needs to be more patient.

Axl Rose asked for Patience

And he meant it... He made everyone wait for Chinese Democracy.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

By my count, that's twice now the Twins have had a runner at 3rd with less than two out and failed to score him.

Not good.

At least we're getting that far...

Could be worse.

Ladies and Gentlemen... With this post we have set a new record on Twins Daily

That two different uses of Ook in two different contexts and used correctly each time.

This may never be done again... I hope you all appreciate it.

How often have we used it incorrectly?

We aught to be able to set that record too, eh?

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Somewhere in all that excitement, some Red or other hit a dinger.

2-1 Twins entering the 5th.

For sure.....eh!

[USAFChief]

When it works, a hit 'n run is a beautiful thing.

By the way, the Dick and Bert comments comparing Nunez to Gomez was pretty funny.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Hit *and* run.

Hey, look, someone's on third again!

[sampleSizeOfOne]

3-1 and still batting.

A Mauer Sac Fly brings in Dozier from 3rd.

POOF!!! goes our rally again.

Psst.....we're winning Halsey.

Plouffe is ok.

I loved that series. Had to buy it and digitize.

Brrrrrrisco.

Me too.

Though only recently did i get my hands on it, and watch it in total.

Special features were pretty cool too, as they got to use the last gasp of the lot resources that did all the old westerns. Folk came out o' retirement to teach Bruce his horse and gun handling skilz.

"Was it a male pheasant?"

Bert:  "I have no idea...I didn't check."

Chris Sale broke the record for most strikeouts in the month of June.

[Riverbrian]

I drove by a store today that sold Popcorn.

I didn't feel like Popcorn so I didn't stop in... But I've been thinking about that.

A brick and mortar Popcorn store?

I wonder how it survives now that Blockbuster is gone.

That is like Yogi Berra's quote about the bags.

I'm discovering new stuff here in Grand Rapids.

Today it was a popcorn store... Last Week... A Brick and Mortar Store that sold nothing but Trophies.

I cleaned that place out... Now I can show people that I'm good at everything.
