Just a couple days after telling an ebullient interviewer that he would be playing in Venezuela until December 2nd, Chris Parmelee is heading home:

As I reported above, and in Parker's original thread, Parmelee tells the reporter that he would be playing with his team until December 2nd.  He didn't play much of this last week, so obviously, the situation changed.  The exact reason why, still to be determined.

Why is this an issue? Pamelee can hit minor league pitching. He has proved it time and again. Is it ant big deal that he gets to face Yohan Pino in Venzuala
