jokin Old-Timey Member Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Just a couple days after telling an ebullient interviewer that he would be playing in Venezuela until December 2nd, Chris Parmelee is heading home: Mike Berardino @MikeBerardino · 3m 3 minutes ago No injury for Chris Parmelee. I'm told he fulfilled his contract w/Licey and is back home. Slashed .270/.343/.365 in 63 at-bats in Dominican

jokin Old-Timey Member Posted November 23, 2014 Author Posted November 23, 2014 Didn't Hicks and Parmelee both simply fulfill their contract and return home? As I reported above, and in Parker's original thread, Parmelee tells the reporter that he would be playing with his team until December 2nd. He didn't play much of this last week, so obviously, the situation changed. The exact reason why, still to be determined.
The Wise One Verified Member Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Why is this an issue? Pamelee can hit minor league pitching. He has proved it time and again. Is it ant big deal that he gets to face Yohan Pino in Venzuala
