Yes, walks are valuable and the fact that Hicks seems to be good at drawing walks has served him well. I think if he's gonna stick in the majors, he's going to have to be more aggressive at swinging at strikes. He's done a very good job at not swinging at not strikes. That's worth something and he should get credit for that part of that.
