On another note, as nice as it would be for the Gophers to go 3-0 it is not worth Leidner playing and getting hurt even further, risking the B10 schedule.

Okay ... everyone ... play nice.  This started as an Iowa vs Iowa thread.  I can see how that can lead to Big 10 discussion, so while not exactly how the thread started, it seems a natural digression.  I don't think there are enough fans of any one college football team to keep one thread to one team or one match up, so let's all just go easy here.  And while we can still have football talk here on a baseball site, and I'm not trying to discourage that, I am still going to try and encourage you to visit vikingsjournal.com if you want more interested parties around to discuss football.  There is a college football forum specifically for this kind of talk with likely more interested parties there to share in the discussion instead of immediately going astray.
