Minnesota Twins All-Time One & Done Team

A list of players from other organizations who only played a single season for the Twins before moving on to another team or retiring

C –Henry Blanco, 2004 (Orlando Mercado, 1989, honorable mention)
1B-John Briggs, 1975 (Greg Colbrunn, 1997; Orlando Merced 1998, honorable mention)
2B-Orlando Hudson, 2010 (Billy Martin, 1961)
3B-Joe Crede, 2009 (Dave Hollins, 1996;  Tony Batista, 2006: Jeff CIrillo 2007)
SS-J.J. Hardy, 2010 (Orlando Cabrera 2009)
LF-Rusty Kuntz, 1983 (Jerald Clark, 1995)
CF-Otis Nixon, 1998 (Darrin Jackson, 1997)
RF-Alex Ochoa, 1998 (Wally Post, 1963)
DH-Craig Monroe, 2008 (Butch Husky, 2000)

RH SP-Jack Morris 1991 (Bill Singer, 1976; Paul Hartzell, 1979; Livan Hernandez, 2008; Luis TIant 1970)
LH SP-John Smiley 1992 (Kenny Rogers, 2003; Bill Krueger, 1992; Shane Rawley, 1989, Neal Heaton, 1986)
RH RP-Steve Bedrosian 1991 (R.A. Dickey, 2009; Michael Jackson, 2002; Ron Kline 1967)
LH RP-John Candelaria 1990 (Aaron Fultz, 2004; Phil Dumatrait, 2011)

Manager- Billy Martin 1969, sort of.  Billy coached in the Twin organization and then managed the Twins AAA team in Denver in 1968 so he really wasn’t a “One & Done” guy in total service to the organization.  Ray Miller technically managed the Twins in parts of 2 different seasons, 1985 & 1986,  but he most fits the tenor of this list.

Mascot- Twinkie the Loon, exception parts of 2 seasons, 1980 and 1981
