Eric R Pleiss Provisional Member Posted July 11, 2014 Author Posted July 11, 2014 Solid day of pitching on Friday for the Twins with Hamburger, Dean, Lee, Stewart and Jorge all going in the MiLB. Unfortunately all of the start times pretty much over lap. But if you have MiLB tv, you can watch Hamburger, and Dean. http://www.milb.com/milb/multimedia/milbtv.jsp
Seth Stohs Site Manager Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Check out this article about the Cedar Rapids game last night from Jeff Johnson of The Gazette in Cedar Rapids. Sounds pretty intense. http://www.thegazette.com/subject/sports/blogs/diamonds-and-ice-by-jeff-johnson/kernels-tee-off-on-wisconsin-reliever-feel-good-about-it-20140710
Siehbiscuit Verified Member Posted July 11, 2014 Posted July 11, 2014 Hicks' BA is looking solid, but he still is not getting any extra base hits! Two 2B's and 2 HR's so far is a little discouraging. I also notice he is playing RF, while Rosario is in CF. I don't ever see him as much of a corner OF'er, but his size and athleticism should produce more extra base-hits.

h2oface Old-Timey Member Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 Is anybody as excited as me that we have a 32 year old pitching a complete game in AA ball?
Jeremy Nygaard Twins Daily Contributor Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 The fact that ERolf calls him "Virgin Vasquez" doesn't even surprise me a little bit.
