THE Twins may want to do something additional to players who do this sort of thing. They definitely shouldn't be promoting players so they can start their suspension earlier.

I'm not implying they did that, just that the timing is a good thing!

Not really a true promotion. I'm sure when his suspension is done he will be sent right back down. If there is no rule about this I see no reason to avoid it.

Also, if they are suspended, why is it okay to play in Extended Spring Training Games? I think they should be banned from all MLB-related facilities.

I don't know if removing these young men* from the support structure of the team is necessarily in their best interests.

 

 

 

*and I use the term "men" loosely, most of them are still just kids
