Game Thread: Twins v Tigers, 4/25 @ 7:10pm CT

[Joe A. Preusser]

Well, this inning has been a slap in the face with a wet noodle.

[Mill1634]

can we forfeit?

[Winston Smith]

Only 20 outs to go.

[Joe A. Preusser]

My 23 month old daughter is learning to throw, and she's a lefty...

[Mill1634]

thank god

[Riverbrian]

can we forfeit?

That would be funny.

how big would the fine be if Gardy just took his team off the field after getting shelled?

[Physics Guy]

I got free tickets tonight. My kids get to change bases in the middle of the game. I'm not sure I can make it that long.

[Mill1634]

they r grand slam proof....twice

[Reider]

To Trevor Plouffe

Thank You... I loved it... Even without the out... I loved it. Keep it up.

Gotta agree.. the effort to try and tag third, then the decision to go for the double play. He's looking a lot more comfortable over there this year. He's starting to play to his potential. I like it a lot.

Thats Wonderful.

I hope you told them that if they trip... They could make Sportscenter or at least YouTube.

Good call. Married 19 years. I'm safe.

[Reider]

Nice play Dozier!

[stringer bell]

While it is well and good that we call for changes in the rotation, the fact is that three of the four veterans are signed for multiple years. Correia was their best starter last year and pitched acceptably in most of his starts this year.

[stringer bell]

Remember that positive run differential? It's...................gone.

[Tibs]

It ain't over 'til it's over.

[Reider]

The decision to bring Kubel back is looking like a good one, more and more, every day that goes by.

[sampleSizeOfOne]

It ain't over 'til it's over.

If it's not over... does that mean it's under?

I'm still hangin' in there!

[stringer bell]

The worst thing about a short start is that it keeps 13 pitchers on the roster.

[Reider]

...and likewise with Fuld!

[Reider]

... Florimon, not so much! Offensively, at least...

[lyndon]

And now for some good news: Kohl Stewart pitched one-hit ball for six innings today!

[Tibs]

I don't know how much more of Florimon hitting .122 I can take though. Especially when he hits into double plays

[Tibs]

I hate seeing Torii Hunter do that against us. Used to be my favorite player

[Reider]

Torii Hunter is as consistent as they come!

[Mike Sixel]

The starting pitching can't be worse.....

[Reider]

I hear you.. even I am starting to get annoyed with his hitting and I'm as big of fan of him as you'll find.

[stringer bell]

How is Nunez' oblique?

[Tibs]

How is Nunez' oblique?

Mike Berardino ‏@MikeBerardino 5mEduardo Nunez (left oblique) sat out for 5th time in 6 games tonight. Has played 4 innings since Saturday for @RocRedWings

[sampleSizeOfOne]

Now the age old riddle...

How does one maintain interest when it seems a game is decided early on, and not try to beat the traffic? (especially strange to feel this with no traffic to beat...)
