Not an analytical piece, just a brief interview of DJ.

“We all have a pretty good idea of where we rank as prospects. We know the higher-up guys draw the most. There are first-round picks and there are 40th-round picks. That’s just part of life in the minor leagues.”

 

Most interesting part. So much of the minors is pedigree, and it makes it all that much more interesting when a guy who "shouldn't" make it actually does. Or a guy like Colabello who most people wouldn't have given a snowball's chance in hell.
