This could very well be an informed decision based on what the twins have told him. I actually thought a 5k drop was generous. Four of the five people I know cancelled and I don't know anyone new that signed up.

Yes. Reusse is an expert.

I'm hot and cold with him and he's horrible at prognosticating, but there is no denying he knows more about Twins baseball than just about anyone still expelling CO2 (breathing, that is).

EDIT: or maybe I should say, forgotten more than most people will ever know.

I am surprised anybody reads Reusse anymore.  Articles that are always negative, constantly baiting readers.  Needs to go the way of the Dodo.

I won't defend how utterly bad and negative some of his recent columns were getting, but between him and Sid, those guys are like the Forrest Gump of the Twin Cities sports scenes. 

If you can filter out the bias in some of Reusse's comments and columns, you can still learn a lot even if you can't stand the guy. 

I didn't renew my package this year.....  My season ticket rep actually asked me 'other than the loses/play of the team is there any other reason why you would not want to renew?'  I said yes there is.  I believe it is preposterous that one buys a beer and a brat leaves a tip you are about $20.  We all know concessions are HUGE in the profit margin department but come on man.  That article in the Strib about payroll did the club NO favors with the fan base.  It further proves that ownership truly 110% views this as a BUSINESS first and winning is secondary.  Doing 'just enough' to keep the fan base interested with spurts of success.  I love the game of baseball and the Twins but it is getting ridiculous!!!!!
