I hope that the Rock Cats bring out the HC hats at least one more time before they say good bye to NB. As a west-coaster who's never been to NB, I can only hope that maybe the Twins decide to head out West with a new PDC, but I don't think that happens. Hopefully wherever the Twins AA affiliate ends up, they're in a good situation for player development because after several years of high draft positions, there are a lot of good young players in the system.

Paul, you raise a good point, which I didn't mention: over the next few years, the Twins will be sending a bunch of really good players to (through) wherever their AA affiliate is. In that sense, the Twins are an attractive partner. A Buxton, Sano, Berrios, Stewart, etc., can help attendance.

And you're right -- the HC hat is my favorite.

The Rock Cats' owners will very likely re-brand the team. So, no more lovable Rocky.

Can the bring back the Whalers name? They already have a mascot, although they might have to rename him (from "Pucky")

The Twins should do whatever it takes to stay affiliated with Hartford. It's not easy to find top rate facilities and I'm not sure I would like to see the Twins move to the Texas League or the Southern League.

Aside from my personal bias to see them stay in CT, I imagine the organization has to be excited about the new facilities.
