Pelfrey has been much publicized, and why Bartlett and Kubel are on this team. The management is trying to establish new leadership roles. Morneau and Nathan are gone. Vocal leadership isn't exactly Mauer's thing. Who's stepping up? Maybe Bartlett and Kubel are here to mentor new clubhouse leaders, could be Hicks or Perkins.

WHAT DO THESE TEAMS HAVE THAT CREATE SO MUCH CHEMISTRY and CHAMPIONSHIP FLARE? They've done it with talent and chemistry and role players. They had fun doing it too. What is and was their magic formula?...........................

There are have been plenty of suggestions that the Twins lack those things. I don't know how accurate those thoughts are. Since many of them come from feature writers who aren't with the Twins everyday or "visitors" like our Twins Daily guys, they may or may not be seeing things they expect to see or want to see, they may be missing the reality of the situation.

Mostly, I think the Twins lack talent. If/when more minor league talent graduate to the big leagues and prove to be premium talent, I expect people will quit talking about leadership, cohesion and enthusiasm.

Yeah I'm hoping guys like Parms, Herrmann and Diamond go down to Rochester and get their chemistry straightened out ..hey it worked for Bartlett..
