The Yankees have granted the Twins permission to speak with James Rowson about their managerial vacancy. The news originally was attributed to the New York Post baseball reporters. They also report that the Twins have considered Derek Shelton and Ramon Vasquez as potential candidates.

I frankly like all three possibilities, although I would lean more towards Shelton due to his managerial experience. What you guys think?
