First Up - Contend 2013.

If the Twins choose this - then hard choices and changes in their style is going to be necessary for them to contend next season. The press should be asking these questions.

Here is what they need to do:

• Aquire 2 Starters either by Free Agency or Trade
  
• Trade a CF (Either Span or Revere)
  
• Aquire either 3B, SS, and/or 2B (At least one)
  
• Add another Reliever
  

The Hard choices:

• Free Agency should be an option and should be used.
  
• Trade a CF - Span or Revere - get a quality starter and if possible INF (not another utility player)
  
• Get a top starter.
  
  • Free Agency - going after Greinke - He will not come cheap and likes the midwest. Not to talk to him is the wrong choice and a reasonablie offer should be given.
    
  • Trade - Top Prospects should be used.

  [*]Willingham as DH

  [*]Doumit as the extra player / pinch hitter / backup catcher

  [*]OF Prospect for LF.

  [*]INF should 'not' be Plouffe, Carrol, Floriman, Escobar - to many liabilities.
