No. We already have a SS that can't play SS, we do not need another one, especially one who has suffered so many injuries that his prime is in the rear-view mirror. 

It's tempting. Fangraphs has him projected at basically replacement level - they project 99 wRC+ and 1.0 WAR for 2019. He is willing to switch positions. Per Susan Slusser, "...Could be a real possibility for A’s at 2B at a mere $600,000." Maybe he can bounce back in 2019?

I'd take a flyer on him. What's the worst that could happen? He doesn't perform, and you release him? You might just get some real good results...
