I always love when players get a chance in the bigs... Been dying to watch Deduno pitch and here are my observations... Has "electric" stuff ok not electric, at least with juice... One thing about how he pitches is, if he doesnt know where its going the hitter doesn't either. This was his best start, with additional control, I think he can be effective. I have consistently said good things about Scott Diamond. He has been the pitching MVP for the Twins this year by far. I have enjoyed watching the games he has pitched as he hasn't lost his "control of the game" at all this year in my opinion. He is very consistent in the strike zone, doesn't give up walks, and lets the defense get outs for him. He reminds me of a young Steve Avery from the Braves. September is one of my favorite times of year. I am a big fan of seeing the young talent that is brought up to fill the roster. The Orioles squeezed out a split in what could be considered a disappointing finish to a four game series that held so much promise. After an offensive explosion on Monday night, the Twins made things a little bit more interesting on Tuesday when they didn't take their first lead in the game until the seventh inning.
