    I'm reminded of the Apollo era at NASA. Alan Shepard was working in the astronaut office, semi-responsible for assigning crews to missions. He had days when he was in good moods. And days when he was not. The office secretary began to hang pictures up to indicate Al's mood of the day. We need that for Kyle. Maybe one picture of him with his head down, passing the ball to Molitor. Maybe one with him watching a HR fly out. And one with him getting handshakes in the dugout. Of course, how we figure out what picture to use (and which pitcher has shown up) is the trick.

    Why would it make more sense to DL Wimmers? Being optioned, he could be recalled if someone else went DL In next 10 days. If he was on the DL, he's out a minimum of 10 days.
