  1. I like it. Grossman getting on base for Dozier and Dozier can be in that leadoff spot he seems to like. Mauer splitting the strikeout prone Buxton and Sano, while also getting on base for Sano. It definitely isn't the typical lineup you would expect but I like it a lot.
  2. Was kind of hoping with Kinzler pitching the 8th, we would get to see Pressley in the 9th. Would have created some debate with the comments Molitor has made about possibly mixing things up on the back-end of the bullpen.
  3. Read on article on TD recently and it talked about how Molitor pointed out the Twins want Mejia to make more of the routine grounders back to the pitcher. Looked on ESPN play by play and there was a bunt single and infield single to Mejia.. I would like the guy to be in the rotation so I am hoping this isn't enough reason for Twins to send him to the minors, but I have a bad feeling they look at this and see their excuse for why so they can add an old washed up pitcher to the rotation instead.
  4. I could just watch this on repeat all day. WOW.
  5. " Ask not why your teams top "SS" prospect is playing second base, while a joke utility player is playing SS"
  6. He took a walk his 3rd as bat which I see as a plus, because it seems many of the young prospects have been struggling to do that the last couple years.
  7. Looks like he is going to try to. Singled and tried to steal second but was caught.
  8. Thanks for clearing that up! I just thought I remembered reading something about it, but couldn't find the article to back myself up.
  9. Yeah I'm not sure. He probably was seeing more fastballs batting leadoff which could be a reason. It could an interesting discussion though. If his production falls do they try to move him back to leadoff in hopes it increases? He also changed his approach last year midseason I believe, which could also have played a factor.
  10. I could be mistaken, but wasn't there some sort of article on TD last year comparing Dozier's production batting leadoff opposed to other places in the lineup? If I am right I believe I remember it talking about how his production is much better at leadoff. I agree he should be batting 3rd, but it is interesting to think about if his production really is better at leadoff.
  11. Does anyone know if there is anywhere on TV or computer to watch these games?
