  1. yep and that call forced him to swing at the high 3-2 pitch
  2. I remember Berrios said he wanted to be a 20 game winner. Selfish attitude if you ask me.
  3. why would you pitch outside if you’re shifting the hitter to pull
  4. havent seen much small ball from the team that leads the majors in home runs
  5. every time Buxton injures himself and costs us wins or every time Berrios has a shaky start
  6. Berrios is just another disappointment on the Twins pitching staff. He’s no ace and I wouldn’t be comfortable giving him the ball in any game against a team with a winning record. Ace on this staff has to be Pineda, can’t give it to Jake, he rarely goes six innings. On offense , what’s gonna be done about Buxton, his constant trips to the IL have hurt this team, he needs to quit crashing the wall with reckless abandon.
  7. Trout hits his first home run ever at Fenway, how can that be
  8. well he hit a home run, no guarantee he would have done anything last inning, so I’m good with how it turned out
  9. I believe Justin’s take is correct..... Kepler wouldn’t have faced Plutko last inning
  10. I don’t know, you get Indians nemesis Kepler on deck and about a 90 percent chance that Puig throws Cron out there, but teams usually send runners with two outs. Should have held him up I think
  11. conditioning, if you’re used th throwing 80-85 pitches consistently then you will definitely be out of gas before you reach 100
  12. Lots of baseball left, but it looks like the Twins are out of gas
  13. 1: I don’t know but it might keep us in first place e a while longer2: I just want to know if ghosts will walk out of the cornfield
  14. Smoltz on Smeltzer..... I can’t remember what he said but I just wanted to post that
  15. I like Morneau. I think the auditions are over, fire Hawkins and Smalley, and let Bert retire. Give the job to Justin
  16. I’ve sat up high at ballgames, it’s not that hard to judge about how far a ball will usually travel, Bremer is off on way too many and us watching on TV are at his mercy, it’s very annoying.
  17. maybe he’s blind in one eye, his depth perception seems off
  18. The umpire isn’t going to allow Clevinger to walk anyone
