  1. Man-o-man, who put a quarter in Willi Catro. Hotzy totzy.
  2. Boy, if it wasn't for Carlos' error, we'd only be down by 7.
  3. I can listen to Stevie nicks all day. Lindsey Buckingham, underrated guitar player.
  4. This team is a roller coaster ride at excelsior amusement park.
  5. On another note the game between the Panthers and the Oilers last nite was completely awesome. Great hockey.
  6. Wow, the starting pitching implosion has begun.
  7. Sarcasm noted and accepted. I just don't see any pitchers, including Dobnak that can help right now.
  8. If we are in scramble mode and need a another starter from the minors I think I'd rather see Trent Baker or Aaron Rozek from Burnsville get a chance, at least those 2 have been pitching effectively.
  9. What are you missing? Nothing. This is the first time in Twin's history that i've replied to one of your posts.
  10. That and the way the Saints lost the game with Kyle Bischoff not being able to hit the side of a barn no matter where he was trying to throw the ball. That was a bad loss.
  11. Good to see the bats of Sabato and Cossetti heating up. I thought at the beginning of the year it was possible both would end up on the scrap heap but now it looks like their baseball journeys will continue. I'm sure Sabato will get a chance to hit for the Saints sometime in the near future.
  12. I think we've seen with Chris Paddack that when you can command your pitches with good control, good things happen. Hopefully SWR can give us some solid fives like he did last year.
  13. "Pitches poorly located, even with solid velocity or movement, will be crushed by advanced hitters." Yep, welcome to the big leagues.
  14. It would be cool if both Culpeppers make it to MLB. There has never been a player named Culpepper in the major leagues, so these guys would be the first(s), and we'd have both. Dual Culpeppers. Yeah baby!!
  15. Awesome. Childhood exploits are the best. In grade school they decided I might have baseball possibilities when during a throwing test, I threw the ball and it left the playground in the air and went through the front window of the house across the street. I don't think the house owner was all that impressed though.
  16. I saw Bobby Darwin's colossal smash. More like a T-shot than a majestic arch. I think it was 1974 and he hit it off Fergie Jenkins of the Rangers, but I could be wrong. And as it continued to travel we were thinking OMG its heading for Harmon's seat. Nobody up there. Ball rattled around the seats then the awe turned to yay, a homerun.
  17. I think Reggie Jackson hit one that would have cleared the stadium but the ball hit one of the lighting transformers or something to keep it "in the stadium". Tiger Stadium was a great place to watch baseball; good fans too. I miss that place.
  18. Wow, that's some serious Debbie Downer shite right there. Nobody is saying he's Major League ready or anything. I think its exciting when a draft pick can start his pro career playing well enough to push the organization to promote him. Not sure you can ask for more than that.
  19. We have a rotation of Ryan, Ober, Paddack, Matthews and Festa for the resta.
  20. Pleasantly surprised. He seems to be a guy that just goes out and gets the job done. His defense at second base seems quite good, better than anybody we've had in a while. I like seeing his name penciled into the lineup.
