I would definitely look to trade for Norris on a buy low candidate. I mean he is hitting pretty terrible this year, his defense is okay, and I think he could be had for a lottery ticket. I think he could bounce back offensively with us because we have a better lineup around him than the Friars. Then I'd probably use Turner as our backup regardless of how he hits, we need a solid defensive catcher on the major league roster for a change.

Very very excited for this young man Max Kepler. 3 bombs Monday, 3 walks and a bomb last night, I really like the future for this kid.

Have read Hutchison could headline Santana trade, has MLB experience but is in AAA right now. Would more than likely take Santana's rotation spot immediately. Throw in Reid-Foley and Pentecost and I think we should take it

It would bring us over 2 quality pitching prospects and Pentecost, who I believe was a top 15 draft pick, at a position of EXTREME need

I like the Light trade, the Twins need to load up on power arms, it's the trend in the game right now. Hopefully he can figure out the control problems but I don't see what we have to lose by adding a guy that can touch triple digits...

If Santana is on the move and it is to the Jays I would be asking for Reid-Foley, Greene, AND Pentecost. Or say no deal

Big time fastball. I like it

I think the biggest concern would be: would he want to play in MN? I feel as if he loves the spotlight

I think if you get the chance for this deal, you have to do it. We do not know how long it will take Buxton to realize his potential, not to mention he seems injury prone. I wouldn't be giving up Rosario either

Exactly the return we needed, maybe there is hope after all

Read a piece that the Royals might let Escobar walk or try to trade him and let Mondesi take over next year. Worth kicking the tires on?

I think if, and that's a big if, we shell Ubaldo tonight that might just push the Orioles to make a deal, with someone at least

That's what I wasn't sure about either. I just think Clevinger would be a good return because he could step into the rotation now, or at the latest next spring. The Indians don't really have a huge need for him either as they have a great starting rotation as is.

Sounds like the Indians are in on Nunez. I'd ask for Mejia (Catcher) who is sporting a nice little 39 game hitting streak in the minors, looking to become only the 16th player in minor league history with a 40 gamer, tonight. I would also look at Kaminsky (LHP) or Clevinger (RHP). Clevinger is a little older than one would like (25), but he is pitching very well at AAA. 10-1, 3.17, 88IP, 89K, 72 hits allowed. Although he didn't fair very well in limited big league action. What do you guys think? Not sure how much we could return for Nunez as these prospects are 7, 8, and 9 in the Indians system.
