  1. Score a run, give it right back...again...
  2. Nice to see Cave making the most of his opportunities.
  3. The team that scores more runs will win. Got it!
  4. That's the odd thing. If something like that is going to be chiseled into stone, you'd think that it would be something related to the bats since they disappear so frequently. This team wins when the offense shows up. Many a quality start go wasted when they don't.
  5. Haha! Dazzle is so accustomed to the Twins losing a series that he started his intro saying "as the Twins try to avoid the..."
  6. My last HS PA ended in a HBP. The guy threw hard, but had no idea where it was going. His first warm up pitch went to the backstop. 2-0 count, he dropped down side arm and tried to spin one. It didn't spin and it hit me directly on the hip bone. I figure that since he couldn't hit the strike zone, he hit me instead. I barely made it to 1B I was in so much pain. Trying to walk it off only made it worse, but there was no way I was coming out of the game. I still remember the pain as if it just happened. Walked with a limp for a few days. I imagine that it bruised the bone. My God that hurt.

I have not, but hope to at some point.
  8. I don't have any scientific data to back this up, but it seems like this team runs on Gordon a lot. Considering how well they should know the Royals and Gordon in particular, this seems really odd to me. They seem to dare him to throw them out, and he most often does.
  9. I'm still amazed that FS1 didn't find an out to somehow get out of televising this game. The ratings must be through the cellar.
  10. Yeah, the last thing I want to hear about as a fan of either of these teams is the Yankees. Thanks for being in touch with your audience, Tom.
  11. I've got a Nicky Punto foul ball from a game against the Tigers at the Dome. I've still got it. It's in a case on my desk at home.
  12. I think that shows how bad Baltimore has been.
  13. Which is reasonable. I couldn't care less about watching him either catch fire finally in a lost season or continue to struggle in a lost season. If they get someone that can help next season, great! If not, it's better than nothing.
  14. He didn't get cheated on that. Not was the sun a factor.
  15. Not everyone that wants him traded because of Gordon. Some want him dealt because they won't re-sign him and they may as well get something for him.
  16. I'll take baby steps at this point. I don't want to see him up here again until the minor league season is done, if even then.
  17. It's like watching a mirror image of the Twins with RISP.
  18. He's a better defensive catcher than I am. Does that do anything for you?
  19. In a sense, this team could use some of that type of crazy.
  20. Nice to see Kepler warm up a bit at the plate.
