  1. The good news is that he can only blow one save per game. So, there's that!
  2. It's easier than hitting a baseball with the sun in your eyes!
  3. An insurance run sure would be nice...
  4. Romo and Sam Dyson. Dyson didn't work out all that well, but Romo was pretty good for them that year. The bullpen never was that good, so it didn't fix itself, but it did get better with help.
  5. They brought in several relievers at the deadline. Hardly fixing itself.
  6. That team had an offense as I recall. This team is feast or famine. Much easier to cover up the warts when you can score the way they did in 2019.
  7. Gameday shows Maeda peppering the heart of the plate. I'm not an expert, but that seems like a poor strategy.
  8. Given recent history, I don't like the Twins chances in a shootout...
  9. I believe that it's treated like an error, which would be appropriate in my view.
  10. Yeah, he's not been nearly as sharp as he was last season.
  11. Bring him a Gatorade to make sure that he was properly hydrated for when he finally decided to round the bases?
  12. I believe that Donaldson brought his sacred banging stick. And it came through!
  13. It is, but the typical tax of such occurrences is that the second man is left in scoring position.
  14. Not according to the CDC, but they do recommend consistent hand washing and masking wearing.
  15. I like the top half of that lineup! The other half, woof! I know the roster is depleted, so this is not unexpected. Not much can be done about it. I heard somewhere that Sano had a tight hammy? I can't find where I saw that though. I could be spreading lies for all I know, so take that with a grain of salt. If true, it appears that hamstring issues are very contagious and are making their rounds through the clubhouse.
  16. The offense is the biggest problem, in my view. I do think that the RISP issue will improve, but not drastically. This team strikes out far to often and that will hold the offense back because it cripples their ability to manufacture runs. I'm less optimistic about the bullpen though. It's still early and keeping players on the field has been an issue thus far. Will that continue or do things start to even themselves out. We'll have to wait and see.
  17. Yup...I realize all of those things and yet, here we are!
  18. Jesus...I just realized the bench consists of Blankenhorn, Jeffers and Riddle. What happened to this "depth" I've heard so much about?!?!? It's still only April!
  19. I don't really disagree with you here, but when Rooker went down Kiriloff probably should have been called up instead of sitting around waiting for the minor league seasons to start. I know that he's not sitting around doing nothing, but he'd be better served by being put in game situations, IMHO.
